Diane E. Tucker
Diane E. Tucker is a Qualified Arbitrator, a designation issued by the ADR Institute of Canada; she is also an Arbiter with Just Resolve!, a dispute resolution business in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ms. Tucker has resolved commercial and value of practice disputes since 1984 using both arbitration and mediation in forums including the State Bar of California, the Superior Court of San Francisco and the Better Business Bureau of San Francisco.
She also holds credentials as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Canada (CIPP/C) and for the United States (CIPP/US) issued by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and is a member of the CIPP/C Exam Development Board.
Ms. Tucker joined BCAMI’s Board of Directors in 2016, and has acted as panel and track chairs on BCAMI’s 2015 - 2017 Symposium Organizing Teams. She also belongs to the ADR Institute of Canada, where she serves on the Advocacy and National Development Committees.
DET et al., Ms. Tucker’s Vancouver-based privacy consulting and alternative dispute resolution business, serves both Canadian and US clients.
Ms. Tucker is a member of the State Bar of California, and has held positions as in-house counsel in international electronic entertainment and enterprise software companies in the US and Canada. Ms. Tucker was an adjunct professor in law, paralegal and business schools in the San Francisco Bay Area and in greater Vancouver. Ms. Tucker received her BA in Theology from the University of Dayton, Ohio and her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California.
Ms. Tucker currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors at Place des Arts, an arts teaching facility in Coquitlam, BC, and as President of the Board of Directors at The Little Chamber Music Series That Could, a music- and performance-creation nonprofit based in Vancouver.
